Hartford Chorale presents J’Adore Fauré on Friday, May 31st at 7:30 PM at the Immanuel Congregational Church.

In honor of the 100th anniversary of his death, the Chorale presents a celebration of the music of Gabriel Fauré. Accompanied by Voices of Hartford, a chamber orchestra, and the Chorale’s own James Barry on organ, we present timeless works such as his Cantique de Jean Racine, and Messe Basse. The concert culminates with his exquisitely beautiful Requiem.

Directions

Take I-84 East or West to Hartford to Exit 46Sisson Avenue. At the Sisson Avenue Exit, follow the ramp to the first traffic light and turn right on Sisson Avenue. Proceed to the next major intersection, where Sisson ends at Farmington Avenue. At that light, take a right onto Farmington Avenue. Follow Farmington Avenue to the next traffic light, at Woodland Street, and make a left onto Woodland Street. (The Mark Twain House is on your right; Immanuel is on your left.)

Parking is available in several locations around Immanuel:
  • Parking Lot for Mark Twain House across the street (385 Farmington Ave, Hartford, CT 06105)
  • Behind the Medical Building at 19 Woodland Street
  • Along Woodland Street
  • Parking Lot for Office Complex at 43 Woodland Street
There is wheelchair accessibility from the Woodland Street entrance and restricted mobility parking in the circular drive next to the church building (Woodland Street).
