Are you a high school or college student who loves classical choral music, wants to grow as a musician, and is ready to be part of something extraordinary?

The Hartford Chorale invites you to join us as a Student Intern during our upcoming season! Whether you participate in a single concert or stay with us throughout your academic journey, this is a unique opportunity to sing at a high level, develop your artistry, and connect with a passionate musical community.

What You’ll Experience:

• Perform major choral masterworks alongside professional orchestras and soloists
• Learn from esteemed conductors and seasoned Chorale members
• Grow through one-on-one mentorship with a designated Hartford Chorale “buddy”
• Connect with fellow musicians and gain valuable insight into the world of choral music
• Enhance your résumé and college or grad school applications
• Fulfill school music requirements or earn volunteer/service hours
• Access potential scholarship support for your continued musical education

No Audition Required

To apply, simply submit a letter of recommendation from your school’s choral director, private voice teacher, or another music educator who can speak to your dedication and musical ability.
