Message from the Music Director

Dear Chorale,

What is joyous occasion it was this past weekend to be on stage singing “Messiah” with one of our orchestral partners! I thought our sound was quite exquisite, even given our lower numbers than usual. Thank you to all for stepping up and making this a success!

We now have some much-needed time off for the holidays, but eagerly look forward to restarting on January 9, as we embark on the journey that will culminate in our February concert, featuring the music of David Hurd and Margaret Bonds. Be on the lookout for the edit masters being uploaded to the website, along with other information, in the coming week.

Happy holidays to all of you!

Jack Anthony Pott

Message from the President

Dear Hartford Chorale,
On behalf of the board of governors, I would like to wish you the most wonderful of holidays in good health and with plenty of music. Congratulations on a wonderful Messiah. I am grateful we had a chance to perform at least once, and I am confident our time in Litchfield will come.
Thank you all for your cheerful presence this first half of our year. I cannot wait to see you all in the new year with the continued excellence that can only be the Hartford Chorale!
