Message from the Music Director

Dear Chorale,

Almost a week removed from our concert, and the sounds of that beautiful night remain strong in my ears. You sang with passion, energy, and an obvious desire to share what you had come to know and love. Thanks to our sound engineer, I have already had a chance to listen to the concert, and it was everything I hoped it would be.

Concerts like this are what affirm our mission:

“Hartford Chorale is a volunteer not-for-profit organization that presents, on a symphonic scale, masterpieces of great choral art throughout southern New England and beyond, serving as the primary symphonic chorus for the Greater Hartford community. Through its concerts and collaborations with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra and other organizations, the Hartford Chorale engages the widest possible audiences with exceptional performances of a broad range of choral literature, providing talented singers with the opportunity to study and perform at a professional level.”

This is why we do what we do, and I look forward to the next chapter!

Speaking of that… Edit masters and information about the King of Instruments concert will be going up on the website next week. Keep an eye out for that. In the meantime, here is a Spotify playlist of the music we will be doing in that concert.

Enjoy, and I’ll see you soon.
