Message from the Music Director

Dear Chorale,

Our Messiah rehearsal this past Monday was quite productive, as we incorporated ideas and tempos from WSO Music Director, Leif Bjaland. How about those tempos?! I look forward to continuing on that path at our next rehearsal. Our overall sound is quite good, and when ALL are present it is a good blend.

As the weather gets colder, I urge all of you to be vigilant with maintaining your health. EVERY voice is important to the final product! As always, if you are experiencing any covid symptoms, please stay home and get well so you can join us on the flipside.

Message from the Executive Director

Dear Hartford Chorale,
I hope everyone has had a wonderful week so far! Please read on for a couple reminders as we head into next week.
  1. It is absolutely wonderful that we are able to have snacks at rehearsal this year! Please be sure that the kitchen is tidy and any borrowed utensils are cleaned after break. St. James is gracious to let us use their kitchen so we want to respect the space.
  1. I am still waiting on a few people to pay dues for the season, please get these in as soon as possible. If you need assistance, let me know.
If you are interested in transportation for our Messiah performances on December 10thand 11th , please click here to sign up.

Thank you,
Emily
