Message from the Music Director…

Dear Chorale,

The Hartford Chorale is BACK! After two rehearsals we have covered our first pass through most of the choruses we will be performing in December. Only three remain, and these include two of the most performed: #44 Hallelujah, and #53 Worthy is the Lamb. Our next rehearsal will cover these and begin our second pass through the choruses from Part 2 that we did this past Monday. I am so pleased with the progress we have made and remind you that our only direction in this is “forward!” Please be review what we have done so that there is no re-learning of anything. Feel free to check in with your section leaders for any specific notes they may have. I also look forward to our Halloween Costume competition – dress to impress!!

See you soon,

Jack

Message from the President…

Dear Hartford Chorale,

I am looking forward to our Halloween rehearsal. It’s so nice to see this cherished tradition being resurrected. Many thanks to the social committee led by Dawn Bauer for all their work bringing this back.
Also in the works is the resurrection of our buddy system. We have wonderful new members who are now a part of our precious community. Let’s help bring them up to speed with the warmth and hospitality that can only be the Hartford Chorale!
Until Monday, have a wonderful week and weekend.
Lalitha.

Message from the Executive Director…

Hello Chorale!
I hope you had a wonderful week.
Reminder: If you have not paid your dues, please do so ASAP. You can pay online or at the next rehearsal. If you requested a new name tag, I will have them at the next rehearsal, please be sure to stop by and pick yours up. Next rehearsal is our Halloween themed rehearsal and I look forward to seeing everyone’s costumes!
Have a great weekend!
Emily

Message from the Social Committee…

The annual costume rehearsal is being resurrected!  It will be held Monday, October 31, and enhanced ghoulish snacks will be provided by the social committee. There will be a prize awarded for the best costume as judged by our interim music director, Jack Pott! Come dressed to impress and to win!

Message from the Internship Coordinator…

Once again, the Chorale will be offering Intern positions for qualified high school and college students for the 2022/23 season.

Members of the Chorale are often the best resource we have for identifying possible interns so we ask that each member of the Chorale think about students within their own circle of friends and family for whom the Intern Program might be a good experience.

Follow the link below for more information and feel free to forward this information to any prospective students. Let me know if you have any questions…or leads!

Thanks!

 Russ Hammond, Intern Coordinator.
